Lindsay Kjar goes back to church for the first time in months. What was her experience like? How was it for her believing husband Matt?
This is part of a series of episodes that will explore what it is like to attend church on Sunday as a non-believer and as a spouse of a non-believer. Allan and Kattie will also be sharing their experiences with Allan going back to church. Those episodes will be released separately.

Dearest Matt and Lindsay, I love your fabulous, insightful, authentic, respectful podcasts! None of us are here to “work out each other’s salvation” and a mixed faith marriage requires living this principle, which we LDS members profess to believe. Love is always the answer. We learn to love more purely when we love and embrace each other’s differences. What an insightful point that even in same faith marriages there is still a difference in our beliefs and perspectives. Always love, always patience, acceptance, always profound respect and kindness for one another no matter what each believes.
In this opportunity to understand you Lindsay, do you have a faith, or a belief in Christ, Heavenly Father, or a “higher power”? For me when someone leaves I feel a deep hurt inside, similar to an abandonment feeling. Your podcasts are helping me change that story. I love you two so much and am so proud of you both, and the amazing things you are learning and sharing. You are learning to love each other more purely, without restraint, and helping others to love more purely. ❤
