  1. Any plans to visit the Dallas area? Hi, I’m Wendy Perry. I am an LDS therapist who is successfully ( I hope) navigating faith transitions. I feel called to the work of helping others through this process. I committed to leading with with faith.
I appreciate so much all the work you have done and the help your podcast has been to me, family members and friends.
We would love to have you come here for a fireside. Let me know how I can help. I know many leaders in the area. My son and son-in-law are both in bishoprics in the area. I know we would have a fantastic response.

On another note. I have many interesting perspectives that might be helpful to your listeners.
Mormon therapists have been the “default” guide for members in faith crisis low these many years and I have had many wonderful opportunities to help members stay the course through difficulties. Many of these difficulties have arisen from ignorance and or abuses from leaders. I have had some of these experiences myself. But I also have had many incredible experiences with priesthood leaders that have built my testimony over the years. So I believe I can approach topics in a very balanced way. I have been reading everything I can get my eyes on regarding church history, etc, and I feel to sing a song of praise for God’s mercy in the ways I have been led and directed. But it was very difficult and painful nonetheless, and I want to help others in any way I can.
Again, thank you Bill! Please let me know if I can be of assistance to you in any way.

    Best Regards,
    your sister in Christ,

    Wendy Perry
    P.S.
One of my persistent impressions has been that it might be helpful to approach faith transitions from a “stages of grief” construct. Even though it may not be as accurate as the others models you have used, I believe the simplicity of understanding the stages and the “relate ability” may be useful. Would you be interested in doing a podcast on this?

    1. Wendy I would be happy to do something in Dallas if your group can cover the cost of travel and house me for a few days. Email me and let’s work on setting something up.
